Bolzano/Cologne – WM technics is known in the world of ice maintenance for their innovations in driverless ice resurfacing technology. However, at their innovation hub in Bolzano, they understand that certain tasks still require manual workforce. For example, on mobile ice rinks, where large ice resurfacing machines with their automatic ice edgers cannot operate. Does this mean sacrificing new technologies and sophisticated designs? Not at all—as demonstrated by WM technics’ new Snip manual ice edger.
Product Details
Powered by a high-performance DC motor with a 24V/130Ah battery, the Snip operates electrically and is therefore emission-free. A special feature is the drive wheel equipped with spikes, which automatically presses the machine gently against the boards, allowing for precise guidance along the rink perimeter. With 12 blades on a 352-mm disc, the Snip delivers a fine cutting pattern with a continuously adjustable planing depth from +10 mm to -8 mm.
Practical details such as LED work lights, a mechanical depth indicator, a support wheel for easy maneuvering, and an intuitive operating concept complete the package. The Snip is type-approved and thus meets the highest safety standards.
Warranty Details
The warranty on a product that is delivered shall have a duration of 12 months from the delivery date, it being understood that this shall be the date on which the product is made available to the Customer in the Company’s plant.

ICEplus & ICEplus Flexi
ICEplus is an innovative water spraying system that completely eliminates the need for a towel. With its combination of purpose-developed, low-pressure nozzles, the system applies water to the ice surface evenly and without creating spray mist. Nozzles are positioned close to the ice surface when releasing water droplets, thus minimising trapped air and driftage.This saves water and energy.
ICEplus can be operated from the driver’s cab at a push of the button, and water is primed for application immediately. The quantity of water can be precision-adjusted to match the driving speed.
ICEplus Flexi provides you the best of both worlds. This innovative spraying system can be used in combination with a traditional towel. At the press of a button, the operator can decide whether to apply water with or without a towel.
Optional Self-driving Autopilot
By means of a GPS positioning system, the vehicle covers the whole ice rink on a predefined route. Making it capable of completely resurfacing the ice rink without a driver. WM Mammoth Autopilot is controlled by means of an app. Which displays all important parameters, while the redundant safety system guarantees that the vehicle can be stopped at all times when on autopilot mode. The best assistant an ice-master could ever want!

The WM Mammoth is a guarantee of outstanding comfort for the driver and boasts a full, unobstructed view whether you're driving cabin-free or with all-around windows. Three steps provide easy entry to the vehicle. All important functions are joystick-controlled, and with a simple press of a button, the automatic mode begins all work operations in a pre-defined order. All the important information is clearly visible at a glance on the color display, and the height-adjustable Grammer suspension seat provides outstanding comfort.

Ice Building - Need More Water
When you're building up ice depth or using the water sprayer, more water is a must. The WM Mammoth has it all taken care of! The water and snow tanks can easily be connected into one water tank with a total volume of around 528 gallons of water. No more standing in cold water and tiresome tugging on hoses: All operations can be carried out from the comfort of the driver's cab - there's more than enough water to do the job.

Integrated Ice Edger
The edger is fixed to the body of the WM Mammoth, guaranteeing you outstanding stability and performance. It can be operated easily and safely from the driver's seat. The innovative horizontal spring-loaded system with guide wheel ensures that the edger follows the contours of the rink to perfection, and edges the ice evenly, rapidly and cleanly. Edging and subsequent cleaning of the ice surface with the board brush can be carried out in one simple step. The edgers are positioned between the axels and in front of the board brush, to ensure an unrestricted overview of the vehicle. When not in use, the edger is stored between the wheels, and do not affect operation in any way.

60 Second Blade Changes
The WM Mammoth quick blade-change system eases working life enormously: Blades can be changed in just 60 seconds! The blades are made in a special steel, giving you both an above-average service life and an impressive weight: They are just 6.6 lbs. Blade changes can be carried out quickly and safely. Two blades together with all accessory equipment are supplied as standard in a practical wooden transport box.
